Reactions to Anti-malarials
Atabrine: (Guadalcanal - 1st & 2nd Tour)
1. Thomas - vesicular or pustular eruptions, both axillae
lower abdoman. Cleared repeatedly after change to quinine -
disappeared after 2nd recreation tour.
2. Hall - Similar eruption, responded to withdrawal of atabine
and use of quinine. No response to sulfonamides or fungicides.
